Training - Training Manuals - SOP

 Training

All  managers submit a training manual to the Human Resource department for follow-up to the resort's orientation class.  Once complete, employees should have general knowledge of the resort's mission, locations of departments and retail stores.

All employees are responsible for completing annual training on various subjects such as:

  • Preventing Harassment in the Workplace
  • Safety Training
  • Leadership Training

Training Manuals

Training Manuals are done both in print and video. They are easily accessible and employees are notified if they have been updated. Employees must initial they have received any updated material.

I have created both  the print and video training for our department and the desk.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Creating processes for any activity/event is very important, especially with high turnover areas or if a lead is not available.

Once hired, employees are expected to read through these and get a general understanding of proper procedures.

I have created the SOP procedure for the tennis department.

Content Creation - Online Marketing

Content Creation

Creator and Founder of the Realtennis Network  - CLICK HERE For Website

The Realtennis Network is a FREE resource that I have built myself. It is designed to:

  • Provide quality tennis instruction, utilizing the latest technology that helps simplify and make learning the game of tennis more efficient.
  • Take all of this straight to players through technologies that are at their fingertips both on and off the tennis court.

Some of these technologies include

  • Podcasts
  • Video Tennis Instruction
  • Online Interviews
  • Social Networks
  • Live Broadcasts

This is a one-man turn-key operation.  All posts, video and podcasts are created and distributed by Chris Michalowski, USPTA

Online Marketing

I am very comfortable using email marketing to provide the specific content that my subscribers are interested in.
I currently use AWeber to:

  • Collect information on what subscribers are specifically interested in, by integrating landing pages (through LeadPages) with specific lists of interests.
  • Collect email addresses through a two-step opt-in process which assures me that they want to receive information from me.
  • Create an email series that is related to their particular area of interest providing them with FREE quality content .
  • BUILDING A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with them.

  • Collect information on what subscribers are specifically interested in, by integrating landing pages (through LeadPages) with specific lists of interests.
  • Collect email addresses through a two-step option process which ensures me that they want me to email them information.
  • Automatically create an email series that is related to their particular area of interest.
  • When I create content that is related to their area of interest (they have been tagged), send this to them.

This would be very effective follow-up once they leave the campus after a great experience or visit the site.

The Process We Would Take:

  • Learn player's personal interests while visiting the campus (or the online site).
  • Get permission from players (opt-in) to be able to send them more information on what they just learned and are interested in.
  • Through tagging, automatically send them the information based on their continued interests.
  • Keep them up-to-date on events and promotions that the campus is offering based on their interests.
  • Find out what else they may be interested in through the use of "pixels" and send them related content (at their request).
  • Create promotional offerings based on their specific interests.
  • Builds relationships with players (more personal than just a site with info).
  • They will want to come back for more.
